After doing a lot of research about the leadership style of Sardar Patel, I came to know that the leadership style of Sardar Patel was mostly Democratic by nature. The definition of Democratic Style of Leadership states that –
“The democratic leadership style consists of the leader sharing the decision-making abilities with group members by promoting the interests of the group members and by practicing social equality.”
The points included in the above-mentioned definition are present in the leadership style of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Therefore, we can conclude that his leadership style was democratic.
He would always be remembered as the founding father of the Republic of India. His leadership style is an inspiration for all of us.
