India’s agri exports risen by 17.34% at USD 41.25 billion in fiscal year 2020-21

In his recent statement, Commerce Secretary Anup Wadhawan said India has recorded a huge growth in the export of cereals, wheat, non-basmati rice, maize, millets, and other coarse grains. The United States, China, UAE, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Indonesia, Iran and Malaysia are among the largest markets for India's agricultural products.  India’s export of agricultural and allied products grew by 17.34% to USD 41.25 billion in the fiscal year 2020-21, a top government official said on Thursday. Commenting on the statement, he further added that this growth momentum is expected to be sustained in the current fiscal year as well.  Anup Wadhawan, Commerce Secretary to the Government of India, said huge growth has been witnessed in the export of cereals, millets, non-basmati rice, wheat, maize and other coarse grains.
